It's just a silly site that plays a gif and audio sourced from a youtube video.

Took me a while to make it as simple as it is. I'm still a newb tho (but improving!).

I think you shouldn't auto-play your audio.

Should I have it start default muted then? I know it is 'bm' in web dev terms to have audio like that usually; but this isn't a generic site for the most part.

What are the implications other than randos tying my identity to that particular website? Not that that isn't concerning in and of itself.

now, you purchase whois privacy post release. it's like $15/year from godaddy i believe (for personal)
very very, worthwhile.. also, while godaddy hosting isn't ideal.. it's probably fine for your site.

also, auto-playing audio/video is indeed frowned upon nowadays.
muting is an option, but not the best one as you're still using bandwidth and it slows down your page performance, sometimes rather noticeably.

It isnt'wasnt meant to be a modern correct website; just a joke one for practice and learning how to get everything running.

Might just abandon her with ~ 200 gif combos and see what happens while moving onto my next project.

Next step figuring out monetization of websites and to start to build my E-empire.
