A bachelors of computer science is the way to go!

hopefully find a school that is more up to date on what is popular tech wise. (AKA better electives)

I am approaching the end of my road for my CS degree and I have learned way too much about everything! And there is still so much more to learn!

There isn't a "degree for websites and making apps" per se. Some schools might have a focus for that kind of things if you go a computer science route but mine did not.

My friend wanted to do web development so she took IT in school (Information Technology) which gave her the option of basically specializing in web design and development
so all her classes have been based around it so that might be something to look into.

If not, computer science / software development is your main choice.
