well theoretically you can do everything with java but as soon as you do it, it feels very uncomfortably.

specially when it comes to arrays and lists...

Does it now? There are legitimate complaints about Java syntax but I want to hear your explanation of what you don't like about the language.

what's uncomfortable about arrays? or are you talking about ArrayList which is open source and you can write your own?

thats the point you have to write a list ya own, cuz it sucks

for example you need a list with a list change event/listener, you have to create your own list for that, cmon that should exist

i would have liked a better default toString implementation though. you can't easily write it once and just import it with every project you make. i ended up creating a serializable base class that writes itself to a stream

You do realize that there are multiple pre-made implementations of the List interface that you can use, right? I'm not sure you actually even know Java.
