What is does is downloads wallpaper images from reddit..

What I want it to do it download the image in the top left corner when accessing: http://www.reddit.com/r/uwaterloo

Instead of downloading the background.

Why do you need a script to download that image? Does that image change? Are you wanting to use the script to grab the banner image from multiple subreddits?

It was a request by a company in the 2nd part of a job interview process
The image doesn't change on that particular subreddit
Also it would be great if it would work for multiple subreddits, but not a necessity...the main thing is that the script works

yeah not a good sign if you can't even pass an interview without outsourcing the work

Then why are they asking you to program?

Good question, I was confused myself so was one of my com sci profs I talked to
My best guess is its a test albeit a tough one with someone with no programming knowledge
