I'm wondering what job / career is for C++

I'm interested on learning about scripting on PC. I'm new to this haven't tried scripting before.

I'm a college freshman and I'm planning on taking a class that require C++ next year or semester.
Does it require Math? If so whats math do I need to take for C++? Calculus 1,2, or 3?
Is C++ computer science?
What's is it use for in real life?
If I didn't have any question that you want to share please do, because I want to learn about it.

Thanks

If you're asking about course work, you have to ask your school for their pre-requisites. if you're asking for actual usage, then it's not required. basic binary arithmetic can be very useful though.

"a lot" is highly relative. compared to a waitress? sure. compared to Lifebane99? No.

getting a job is easy. getting a good job is harder. depends on some mixture of your intelligence, hard work, and social networking.

and are you referring to c++ jobs or computer science jobs? the latter is one of the best career fields in terms of growth, salary, and number of jobs available. the former is a very small subset of it.

i dont recommend picking the narrow field of c++ developer when you've never touched it before.

there are a lot of better paying programming languages on the market, c++ is really not the best choice. If you want to go with programming, try either Java or .Net

if you're not going to major in computer science and learn proper fundamentals, don't bother. bad programmers, regardless of the languages they know, are a dime a dozen.

that said, even if you do plan to major in computer science, you're asking the wrong kinds of questions. C++ is a programming language, and like any other programming language, it is simply a tool for building software and software systems.

or to put it more plainly:

computer science is to civil engineering...
...as software/software systems are to physical structures (like bridges, buildings, roads, and highways)
...as c++ is to a hammer
