just spent an hour "learning" to use System.out.print();

wtf. is this like special ed programming?

just moved on to:

int num1 = 789;
int num2 = 123;
int result = num1 + num2;
system.out.print(result);

is it a 1000 level course? aka intro?

you don't take those kinds of classes unless you are supposed to be in there. If you are better then the rest of the class then just test out of it like a normal person.

You need to learn basics first. You aren't going to learn to be a master programmer in an intro course/the first few weeks of classes.

I understand that, but I wish there was a way i could skip 2 weeks then come back, but I'd miss the test on chapter one worth a lot of points... I don't remember exact numbers but I think about 8% of our final grade.

is it small enough that he recognizes you on sight? If it's verbal, have someone else say "here" when he calls your name. If it's written, have someone else sign you in. If it's via PRS or other device, have someone else carry yours. Or you can just leave after role call.
