Anybody here bring their own monitor to work? I need more screen real estate to be productive and want to bring my own monitor to work. Company doesn't have a policy against it so it should be alright?

As long as your company doesn't have a policy against it, you'll prolly be fine. Doesn't hurt to ask your boss, but worst case scenario you have to bring it back home.

No idea why you posted it here.

Should be ok...some people have mini fridges and microwaves in their offices where I work lol...

A lot of us are given 2 monitors already at work.

Just make sure you don't leave it there.. McDonalds is often looted by looters, you know.
Chains are probably a good idea.

In my company they give you another monitor if you need. Not give to you, but use their monitor i mean. Maybe if you can explain your reason, they let you use another so you don't have to bring yours. Here at the company we work with stock market, so theres a business expert here that uses 6 monitors =D

I would ask the company to buy you a second monitor. You shouldn't have to provide your own productivity equipment for a job.

put your name somewhere on the back where nobody sees it. if someone takes it, you have a proof that it's yours
