Tomorrow (Feb 7th) Missouri is going to execute Leonard Taylor who is, in my opinion, undeniably innocent.
Taylor left Missouri to travel to California on the 26th.
Despite multiple testimonies that the family was alive as late as the 29th of November, the prosecutor's case relied on the victims being dead on the 24th.
The medical examiner initially assessed that the deaths happened no more than a week prior to December 3rd, but later changed his story under pressure from the police to indicate the killing could have happened up to 3 weeks beforehand. His rationale was that he hadn't considered the temperature in the house, despite explicitly mentioning it.
To corroborate their case, the police also arrested, beat, and threatened his brother, Perry Taylor, to coerce an unfavorable testimony.
Honestly none of this should surprise us. Law enforcement intentionally murdering minorities to make their job easier happens all the time.
If you're pro death penalty while knowing all of the flaws with the system, then this is the kind of thing you have to accept.
This is complete bullshit.
Not surprising you are white knighting with a contrived narrative.
Why are you so desperate for virtue signaling points?
Here, have a thumbs up anyway.
It's clearly all you care about....
