A couple things. This is what an actual bipartisan bill is. It Joe Biden’s definition where they get a couple red “R” lawmakers to sign onto something. This was introduced by a Republican lawmaker and passed by a democrat.


This bill makes sense. Remember in the 90s when you got home before your parents and you wanted to jerk your gherkin real quick? You had to simply click “yes” and boom you are in. As silly as that was it was some sort of check. You were reminded you are doing something that requires an adult mindset to be handled properly. The new LA law actually requires a check with your birthday and ID number.


This is something many said couldn’t be done. For some reason this makes the opposition scream about free speech, when the idea is to protect children from real trauma caused by sexual situations. Sound familiar?


Huge win for those who aren’t actively trying to create another generation of sexual deviants.

Every kid I know in high school had mags under their bed, including me. Booze is age bared and its completely accessible, every teenager drinks at parties. It's always been easy.

Not saying this is a bad idea, but how in any way can this be enforced?

More like making mandatory (else the website owner is fined and blocked) to integrate specific markers in webpages containing nudity or any gore content.

I don't see it stopping anything. If anything it just going to move servers to a different state or jurisdiction entirely. There will be instantly a workaround tor, some app etc. Kids are smart enough to figuire this shit out.

Yea I agree, there are a lot of factors that have changed which drive men to porn addictions. It's an outlet if you transport the same man to the "good ol days" it's very likely he would turn to booze, drugs etc.

The band aid of how can we restrict porn direction leads to totalitarianism. Not many people want to address the root cause we got an epidemic of sexual and financially depraved young men. Who pick up a brick and a lighter then torch businesses.

Not enough. Universal healthcare is a human right. You need a government agent to come in your house to verify its you and service you. Only then will the children be safe.
We need even more government and this will be a great jobs plan.
If you don't want the government in your bedroom you should probably be arrested.

Common sense porn limits where the government determines when and how you are allowed to do your business.
