8 teenage girls who did not know each other met up over social media and decided to murder some random homeless dude

Since this is in canada they'll probably be released by Tuesday of next week but the randomness of this murder makes it seem like a morbid social media challenge to kill someone?

Wonder if tiktok/facebook/insta/snap has emboldened the weirdos out there to start meeting up to live out their violent fantasies.
