Obviously anything can happen, but both democrats and republicans are expected to sign a bill that would codify and allow same sex marriage in the US.

That would prevent SCOTUS from doing exactly what they vowed not to do, which is overturn the precedent set in cases like the Obergefell vs Hodges, after some of the appointed judges obviously flat out lied during their confirmations hearings about overturning Roe vs Wade.

If Republicans had any sense, they'd jump on board with any codification of both abortion and alternative flavors of marriage. Then it's no longer such a powerful political lever Dems can eternally dangle as a carrot on a stick for their voting base of hysterical single women.

this is both true, and will also lead to a fracture in the party which leads them to losing races for a while until the breakoff part realizes it's pointless and rejoins the fold.

It is wacko, but it's the reality of the political landscape we are dealing with now. Democrats have every intention of using abortion as a carrot on a stick. Just like how they did with student loan forgiveness. They don't give a shit about the issue itself, just how to manipulate it for political gain. Codifying abortion just puts into law the degeneracy and evil that the regime already has, and takes away that political lever. Let Democrats abort their own babies. Less of them in the world is a very, very good thing.

Which is why I propose we let them do it. But on our terms. Government will never pay for it, nor force anyone to do it.

You don't realize,. it doesn't matter if you do or don't support it. They will or won't do it anyways.
