I think the argument presented along with the clickbait title that colonization isn't responsible for the state of africa "because we've all been colonized at one point" is a weak oversimplified one.

but what if anything can fix africa. they aren't at all poor in resources, and have a very healthy young working population. many of the same pieces that led to the USA's success are present in modern africa.

does english commonlaw play a role in improving african nations as was suggested?

and lastly does Jordan Peterson apply fart scented cologne to maintain that face?

Most of the geographical environment in Africa are not really human friendly....
If there's one thing that cannot save Africa it's soycialism, that's for sure.

People think capitalism is what makes a country great. Not true. The people are what make a country great, and these very same people came up with the concept of capitalism. In other words, capitalism is not the cause of prosperity. It is a by-product of prosperity.

I didn't say capitalism is bad. I meant that capitalism alone is not enough to make a country great.

There nothing wrong with Africa geographically.
The problem with Africa is the Africans.
They have this problem anywhere they are.

Which is true, but you also went far beyond that and said its a byproduct of prosperity and not a cause.

I am not a student of economics, however, my understanding is that there had been prosperous societies throughout history where capitalism was not around yet. If this is true then we can say capitalism is not an indispensable ingredient for success.

Like, I get what you say. Capitalism does contribute somewhat, but I think it only makes what's great even greater, it doesn't turn what's shitty into great.

defining on how you define "prosperous" no, there hasn't. there have been successful societies without capitalism, but not prosperous ones as i'd define it.

No. Not in Africa at the moment. In future yes. There need to be steps before it happen.
