I always found it weird that we let people who try to model their entire life after a book that justifies child marriage and other predatory behavior adopt children.

What are your thoughts on allowing Christians to adopt kids?

I am not defending child marriage but you need to keep in mind the cultural context of when the Bible was written.

Besides, at least contemporary Christians don't prey on children anymore and credit needs to be given where it's due. They have managed to evolve. But look at Muslims, who still live like they are in the 13th century. If you think Christians shouldn't be allowed to adopt, then Muslims shouldn't, either.

I dont get people like you who constantly shit on Christianity but continue to give passes to followers of other religions that are even more ass-backwards. You need to be consistent and condemn all for subpar behaviors, not just an easy target like Christians.

I believe good hearted people who have troubles having their own or just want to help and have kids should be able to adopt.

What other religions do I personally give passes to? Or is that your assumption because I didn’t mention them in this post? Want me to make a thread for each of the genocidal religions currently STILL helping to commit genocide and ethnocide worldwide? I will if you want.

124k kids approx are awaiting adoption in a combination of foster homes and orphanages. the idea they're better off in there than in a house where people take them to church is silly. unless said christains are in one of the crazier sects, whom dont often adopt because of their beliefs in overproducing children as a part of honoring god.

Sometimes those foster parents and adoptive parents aren’t good people. In fact I’d say half aren’t.

I should clarify that when I said you, I mean the plural you, not you specifically. I am commenting on a phenomenon that I observe that many people partake in.

I was going to say cause as a Native and after reading all my post I assumed you knew I dislike the entire North American culture and truly believe they are still committing genocide and ethnocide on my people and heritage.
