That being said, the set armorer and the 1st AD certainly share some liability for a loaded weapon being unknowingly placed in an actor's hands. Some sort of civil liability for Baldwin, being the one who pulled the trigger? Sure. Murder? FOH.

I don't even know if civil liability is appropriate for Baldwin honestly.

This incident from what I read seemed like it fell on the the execs who over worked them to the point they can't do their job safely.

he’s always had a wicked temper and a sick temperament. wouldnt put it past him to act in a malicious manner. anyone hear the rage voicemail he left his daughter when she was younger? very disturbing behavior

Not 100%. There are multiple checkpoints for set weapons on a production of that size, which include the propmaster or assistant propmaster, the armorer, and the 1st AD. The 1st AD is the one who handed the gun to Baldwin and called "cold gun". The 1st AD is also responsible for checking that the gun was, in fact, safe.

No it's the assistant director who wasn't qualified gave the gun and confirmed it was cold. Armourer wasn't even on set although its their responsibility to load, unload check the firearm.
General safety and common sense wasn't there as you are not supposed to point a gun directly at someone. Overall a cluster fuck
Negligible homicide 5 - 10 years to the one who loaded the weapon and a fine to production would of been my verdict
