and certainly in America, this peer privilege is far far less than any other nation that has ever existed in human history.
in Africa there is ofcourse tribalism between different black ethnicities. And in other nations especially European white ones, even sectarian tribalism between people of the same ethnicity
America & Canada are the only nations that in general treat you not by your ethnicity or faith, but simply your merit. They are the best examples of successful Imperialism, where Britain was able to export its ideal cultural practices without the yoke of regional tribalism and elitism.
The United States isn't even as good on "peer privilege" as the average European country lol. Much less "every nation that has ever existed".
Also lol @ America not treating you by your ethnicity or faith. You've either never been a minority or never been an atheist in the south. I've been actively discriminated against just for saying I'm an atheist.

It's more of a class privilege rather than white privilege. Historically whites have been in a higher class vs blacks/Hispanics. Nowadays I would say some white privilege still exists but most of the time it's being thrown around way too much.
In a lot of high end jobs now you see tons of Indians and Asians. If white privileges was really that prevalent that wouldn't be the case.
What you are seeing is immigrants who are well off enough to come to the USA and get an education and comparing that to the average white person. It's class privilege outweighing minority disprivilege.
Class privilege is definitely a thing, but so is racial privilege.
