It's time to discriminate based on age in politics and set some sort of upper limit. Idk 70-72 as latest you can get voted in for a 4 year term or something? You can't tell me this 80 year old is mentally/physically fit to fulfill his duties. Like it'd be one thing if this was a one off example but with Biden it's literally every other time he's on camera.

Even dating back to his 2020 campaign, Biden's handlers knew that it's best to hide him in his basement as much as possible and only let him talk publicly in extremely preordained and controlled settings.
But to be fair, Trump's mental decline throughout his presidency was also very noticeable, he just started his presidency from a higher baseline than Biden. Then again, there are also guys like Chuck Grassley who are as sharp as ever at age 89...

The presidency is such a meatgrinder though that I would definitely support an age limit somewhere between 65 and 70.

I'd just say two things. First is that it's not strictly an age thing. My grandma is 92 and has a sharper mind than a lot of 60 year olds. There needs to be clear testing, and much better avenues for removal, especially in these long 4 year terms. This isn't just a president thing, look at people like Diane Feinstein or Chuck Grassley. Feinstein is straight up 9/10 senile, she is apparently forgetting conversations from 5 minutes earlier. Grassley logs into twitter and posts bizarre tweets about pigeons he finds in his field with leg tags on them.

Second is that worrying about age-related decline seems sort of silly when America and all the other Western democracies have enormous problems with even getting competent people elected in the first place. Is it better or worse to have a senile person with generally good instincts or a smart competent psycho who wants to make sure swimming in any river in Canada gives you skin lesions from fracking runoff? Like, who the fuck or Liz Truss or Boris Johnson to be prime ministers of Britain? What are their accomplishments? Justin Trudeau? Robert Habeck has a degree in philosophy and wrote children's books and now for some reason he's the German minister for financial affairs?

The problems here are much more fundamental than one president's onset of Alzheimer's, for which he's not alone. Reagan has Alzheimer's quite bad in his first term, and went through a whole second one, too.

We have the only test that matters, a free election.
