https://edition.cnn.com/2022/08/31/asia/pakistan-floods-forms-inland-lake-satellite-intl-hnk/index.html

"Striking new satellite images that reveal the extent of Pakistan’s record flooding show how an overflowing Indus River has turned part of Sindh Province into a 100 kilometer-wide inland lake.

Swaths of the country are now underwater, after what United Nation officials have described as a “monsoon on steroids” brought the heaviest rainfall in living memory and flooding that has killed 1,162 people, injured 3,554 and affected 33 million since mid-June."

Who's responsible? The joker that made the universe and the laws of physics, laughing his ass off at these things, or the US that industrialized the world and helped spread this climatic cycle of madness that is causing chaos in the world?

My solution: The US and every other country must start building pipes, miles and miles of pipes, inwards to the forests, which constantly pumps water from the sea and thus helps dispersing moisture to forest areas - preventing forest fires and balancing the ecosystem. This must be done on a global scale. Logic: If we can build oil pipes around the globes, we can build water pipes too.

More "refuges" to white countries incoming.
Almost like there is a replacement plan.

Seen footage on twitter. Scary shit. Very unfortunate for the people living there. There's some crazy weather patterns across the world. Assuming this is due to global warming, in all honesty the only realistic solution is to first identify then try to move away from high risk areas.

So pump sea water into the forests so theres no forests anymore = no forest fires?
I like the way you think man

If they were Christian, this wouldn't have happened. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Completely normal phenomenon over there with the difference their population count has skyrocketed over the past 30 years or so. They also don't maintain well irrigation infrastructure left by Britiah colonialists which diverted water to irrigation in order to slow down or stop overfloodung.
My condolences to the people over there anyways.

@Taurean, you don't actually need any pipes. Replanting forests would take care of the problem by itself gradually but as long as the elephant in the room isn't tackled directly (overpopulation) no solution is going to be good enough long term. All you'd do will be even more people living in misery than now.

They are not economical currently. If it was that easy places like California wouldn't be hurting for water.

Maybe it is just the politicians don't give a sh1t about poor and middle-class. The rich can always relocate and can afford to pay for expensive water.
