Declining to press charges is not the same as the officers were in the right. Being drunk in public isn't a death sentence, driving while high on heroin shouldn't be a death sentence. Even crashing your car while fucked out of your mind shouldn't be a death sentence. Stupid people make stupid choices every day and shouldn't have to pay for it with their lives.

The reason the police go after inebriated people is because of what they can do to others. THAT is why it's so important to apprehend them.

Apprehend, not kill. Drunks and drug addicts should be taken off the streets, not murdered.
