Two bits of extremely shocking news in one story:

1.) a man was violently stabbed in broad daylight in front of many onlookers in New York, given this is a liberal paradise where violent crimes never occur because of having tight restrictions on guns and strong political liberal dominance, this was just totally unexpected.

2.) The man who was stabbed has had bounties placed placed on his head in amounts over a million dollars by Iran at one point and then later by at least one Muslim religious group. There had been previously attempted assassinations against Rushdie by Muslims in the past. . . What I'm trying to say here, is this highly organized targeted violence was extremely shockingly unexpected and totally equivalent to Christians because, you know, the Pope routinely puts death hits with million dollar bounties out on people like every week. So let's not think there is anything special going on here.



Lastly, let us remember that it is important for us to not judge another culture from our evil, white-racist (saying white-racist is a little redundant because only white people can be racist, but I have to clarify here to make sure all white people know they are racist and they can't do anything about it), imperialist, rapist culture, instead we have to see the beauty in this and understand just because it might not be your cultural approach - we cannot judge any of this as bad or evil, that would be very ethnocentric of us.

True, but given the trajectory of the Republican party it might remain a true statement for decades.
