Blind faith. I get that some people believe in Santa the Easter bunny just like some kids believe in good night stories. The thing with stories from 3 little bears is that they mostly harmless and no one really takes things seriously. Religion is responsible for many genocides, laws and scientific retardation that has prevented civilisation from advancing. People who participate "usually" are nice enough people but there are some real wackos and straight up terrorists.
My gripe isn't so much with the nice decent human beings that follow basic conduct of "don't be a dick" I am more pointing out the bizarre and straight up psychotic hogwash that many worlds religions promulgate.
