Harald Seegatz, deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Uniper, told Bloomberg News the German utility giant was at risk of insolvency within days

European gas prices have paused their rally as Uniper starts to draw from storage in the middle of July, rather than buy more on the spot at sky-high prices. But that's a temporary and really desperate measure as the Germany utility tries to conserve cash

Ukraines bonds brace for default. Kyiv near $1 billion bond payment due Sept 1st

Sanctions are making some very weird things possible. Saudi is buying Russian crude at a huge discount to burn for energy and then exporting their own to Europe

This article explains the challenges of the energy crisis:

Surely giving up clean and cheap nuclear energy, and making Germany dependant on Russia villain energy instead, has nothing to do with current energy situation?
German Government was stupid to make their whole country fully dependant on Russian energy. Putin sooner or later use it as a weapon.
Even stupid Trump saw and said it, yet the german Government didnt want to listen at all.
So now you gonna deal with it somehow, Germany gambled and failed.

Shutting down nuclear power plants is a liberal thing. It's happening everywhere they have control. The only explanation is that they want their people to be plunged into darkness deliberately.. most likely having something to do with their great reset, given that liberals are now little more than cheap disposable pawns for the WEF.

Many countries are following suit with Saudi Arabia, in short buying Russian oil and selling their own at a higher price to EU countries

Germany is under extraordinary pressure right now, tapping into emergency supplies and scrambling for coal. Even in their pursuit for coal they will face transportation issues to facilitate that
