Under Merrick Garland the DoJ has become an escalating force of authoritarian envelope pushing, seeing how far it can infringe on the 1st and 4th amendments. They raided the home of a journalist in the middle of the night for nothing more than bothering to authenticate a story prior to declining to publish. He empowered storm troopers to use battering rams and rifles to haul away a journalist in the middle of the night and compromise his confidential sources. He is trying to imprison people with charges of sedition for merely attending an opposition political rally, or even just belonging to an opposition group and not being present on January 6th at all. Now trying to arrest politicians and advisors protected by executive privilege for refusing to comply with congressional subpoenas, even though the history of executive privilege has been complete untouchability like Eric Holder during Fast and Furious. And now sending in the goon squad to charge a politician with a misdemeanor?
America is swiftly becoming a banana republic.

No worries though, the Dems are becoming so unpopular that even with massive election fraud on their side they won't be able to hold onto power in 2024. On top of that, they are set to be absolutely slaughtered in the upcoming midterms. A double whammy that will absolutely shred them and put them into an even worse position than they were in from 2016-2020.
Their self-defeating tactics will come back to haunt them.
