I have been thinking on this a lot, and whenever arguments start about this people point to things like stalin's death count of 15 million.
So i started to go over some numbers due to capitalism and lack of regulation and realized tetraethyl lead killed more people than stalin and hitler combined, the tobacco industry spent decades covering up the effects of their products.. asbestos companies like james hardie did the same.
So what is the ACTUAL death toll for capitalism?
Do communists not smoke?
Assigning everything bad under the sun to "Capitalism" while refusing to count anything more than recorded mass murders as "Communism" is obviously going to give you a terribly skewed view of things.
The fact that a massive, guarded, concrete wall was necessary in order to keep East Germans from fleeing their friends, jobs, families, and country is about the only comparison you need to make.
