Today the 'first' trial ended against four of six men accused of plotting to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer over her Covid-19 restrictions, entrapped by an FBI scheme.
Two were found not guilty of all charges. Two ended with a mistrial, the jury unable to reach a verdict. No charges were found guilty.
The other two plead guilty and testified against the other four. Ty Garbin is serving six years on a plea deal, Kaleb Franks still faces sentencing.
The FBI's informant, Stephen Robeson, plead the 5th amendment at the trial and refused to testify. Two other uncover agents did testify.
