i'm still waiting to see some principled outrage over florida's "don't say gay" bill, particularly from our right wing crowd, who constantly clutch their pearls over "free speech" and "censorship" when it comes to defending racist and bigoted speech on privately owned platforms.
this is clearly a much more egregious attack on free speech, so any principled "free speech" proponent will fundamentally disagree with the precedent this law sets, right? can't be that they don't actually care about free speech, and just want to protect hate speech, right?
