Its a 150 day prison sentence, it won't make a big difference if its held pending appeal or not. I think in cases like violent criminals posing a risk to the public and facing life in prison, it would be unthinkable to stay a sentence pending appeal. But a few months for an upjumped nuisance complaint? Seems reasonable. If he loses the appeal, he goes to prison. Particularly since on a 150 day sentence, it would either be over or far into the sentence before the appeal could get through the courts. That's what stayed sentences are supposed to be for. You do the crime, you still do the time in the end. Not like our local courts where every conviction results in an indefinite stayed sentence with no condition to be imposed, nullifying it.

the way people want him literally lynched is really funny to me. and the way people compare him to average joes, as if his lost millions from a tanked career and general status as a social pariah means literally nothing likeways makes me laugh. "but if i did it", yeah and all your mcdonalds coworkers would know you for it, as compared to uncounted millions in the case of the juice.

I love how obsessed certain people are with this mostly non-story.

He got convicted, and is going to probably still go down on appeal, and everybody dropped their support when it became clear he made it up.

So there's really no story here. The right is just desparate to say "zomg look at this happening on the left, guess it's exactly the same on the right!" even though Democrats drop support for these people while Republicans actively defend them to their dying breath.
