Move over Jimmy Carter we have someone in office worse than you.
This man single handedly destroyed this country in a short amount of time.

Not as bad as Putin destroyed his lol.

If it was a race it would be a race to the bottom.

Jimmy Carter's problem was that he was the only American president to actually leave his party at the door and put America first.

Biden spit in bin Salmans face for years and all of the sudden wanted to pull favors. The mainstream left is a joke when it comes to foreign policy. Cry and make a huge deal about one journalist dying in some dictatorship at the cost of huge amount of leverage.

What I think happens now is Biden administration will most likely cave and provide a lot of lethal aid for the Saudis to continue to stomp out the Houthis to get them to increase oil production. In an honest world, we would have the media join hands and point out our hypocrisy in isolating Russia while simultaneously supporting a regime that's been bombing indiscriminately, but we all know that won't happen.

First, companies have to obtain additional permits for rights of way to access leases and build pipelines to transport fuel. This has become harder under the Biden Administration. Second, companies must build up a sufficient inventory of permits before they can contract rigs because of the regulatory difficulties of operating on federal land.

It takes 140 days or so for the feds to approve a drilling permit versus two for the state of Texas. The Administration has halted onshore lease sales. Producers are developing leases more slowly since they don’t know when more will be available. Offshore leases were snapped up at a November auction because companies expect it might be the last one.

Interior’s five-year leasing program for the Gulf of Mexico expires in June. Yet the Administration hasn’t promulgated a new plan. Nor did it appeal a liberal judge’s order in January revoking the November leases. But the Administration has appealed another judge’s order requiring that it hold lease sales.

...

Progressive outfit Global Energy Monitor gleefully proclaimed Tuesday that $244 billion in U.S. liquefied natural gas projects are stalled because they “are struggling to find financiers and buyers” amid “pressure from cheap renewables"—i.e., rich green energy subsidies that Democrats want to make richer—and “tightening climate commitments.”

Biden got what he wanted, it just isn't politically popular. Raging at companies for restrictions he has imposed is a cheap political trick that isn't working on voters. He's going to have to own the foreign policy blunders and economic mismanagement, and accept that he'll need to work with Republican majorities in both houses come 2022.

We don't have a hundred year alliance with the House of Saud because we think they're guys we'd like to have a beer with. It has been to our political advantage, something that used to be recognized by both parties.
