It's just like the story of the grasshopper and the octopus. All year long the grasshopper kept burying acorns for winter while the octopus mooched off his girlfriend and watched TV. Then the winter came, and the grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns and also he got a racecar.

Good story.

I am pretty sure this is what shaped my early childhood. Wonder if these highly educated bums realise that you earning your Keep isn't just a basic requirement but a a bare minimum.
What you put in to a system is what you get out. If there are too many takers bums, greedy/incompetent politicians then it's best to privatise. I don't trust the communist bums to manage taxes.
I would take my chances from the sweat of my brow.
