You've been here a while, most of the threads are made by the same people, and it looks like each side is saying the same thing about each side--I'm right, you're wrong.

I can't help but wonder, have any of you actually changed your position on anything after all your time on this forum?

Have you learned anything significant?
Did you switch sides?
Go towards the middle?

This isn't really a thread about your position, but rather, if you've ever changed it, thanks to a thread, a number of threads, or even someone specific on this forum.

I have a lot but Trumpian politics has led to the garbage era of pard. There aren't good conversations here and there is no reason to put in any effort.

I'm not a regular like I once was, but there were a few regulars (some are still here) that led me to do better job in citing sources, weeding through bullshit opinion pieces, etc.
Since my return after d2r launched, this is mostly a cesspool.
I remember some pretty interesting characters with questionable morals and opinions, but even they looked mild next to some of these new users I'm seeing.

You talking about DWS the DNC and Bernie? That is the biggest political fix that's happened in my 40+ years.

We have an uproar of "WhItE SuPrEmAcIsT" thread and a few transgenders thread. Other than that, same old Group A vs Group B and people defending their turf.

PaRDs always been garbage. It was at least interesting garbage before the Trump era and a bulk of conservative wing got infected with brain rot.

didnt take long for the usual pale pasty swamp demon lovers here who voted for biden to blame trump for the political problems from the last 4 decades.

dont forgot who voted for the war in iraq, botched the afghanistan withdrawal, and now is trying to start another war this time in ukraine.

and managed to be racist to anita hill while attacking clarence thomas all before writing the “black supredators” crime bill (just ask lunch bucket joe he bragged about writing it)
