BEIJING (AP) - China's politically volatile global trade surplus surged to $676.4 billion in 2021, likely the highest ever for any country, as exports jumped 29.9% over a year earlier despite semiconductor shortages that disrupted manufacturing.

In october, Biden announced his three point plan on how to deal with China's economic clout:
https://ustr.gov/about-us/policy-offices/press-office/press-releases/2021/october/fact-sheet-biden-harris-administrations-new-approach-us-china-trade-relationship
1. Honor Trump's Phase One Agreement conditions to benefit agriculture
2. Rescind tariffs imposed by Trump in order to let in more Chinese exports
3. Express serious concern
This made for a unilateral draw-down of Trump's aggressive economic brinksmanship with China, losing the contest and getting no new concessions, then trying to cut his losses by maintaining some of the previous concessions.

So Goom, what Republicans do you think would've done a better job than Biden?

Not goom, but Tusli Gabbard would have done a better job and she's a D.

I 100% agree with this. Although Im not too sure what her true political leanings are. She says Democrat but acts Republican in some ways no?

She's a moderate. She registered Democrat to win Hawaiian elections.

Ah. So that's why she did it. Too bad they despise Tulsi. I actually like her as a "Republican" myself

Only thing I dislike about her is her support of gun control.
