No.
If the DNC hadn't tipped the scales, Bernie would still have lost the 2016 primary, but by a very tiny margin, and Hillary would have gone into the general as damaged goods.
In 2020, he was weaker than in 2016 and only looked strong for a week or so after the Nevada caucus because he was running against an extremely fractured field. The DNC and party elites did indeed interfere to consolidate the non-progressive majority of the party behind one candidate, Biden, but that does not mean that they screwed Bernie. Unlike four years earlier, Bernie got absolutely crushed once the rest of the party was united behind a single person.
But the field didn't organically consolidate around one person. They coordinated the field to drop and all endorse Biden at around the same time to stop Bernie's momentum. This isn't like Bernie just lost on merit. There was just as much if not more underhanded shit in 2020.
Also in 2016 they pulled some real underhanded shit. Bill specifically visited Bernie-favored areas and blocked traffic with his appearances to reduce turnout in ways he didn't do in Hillary favored areas when he visited. They really pulled all the stops in 2016.
