Yes, I'm experiencing the same issue in my city's red light district.

edit: Over reaction sorry.

I was looking in my shopping cart and what I paid at the register didn't add up to how I remember it.
Worked oil and gas for a very, very long time. Throw a wad of cash was part of the business portion of the business. Now it feels like that wad doesn't nearly go as far.

Yeah, I work at Target and it's very noticeable. Groceries are skyrocketing, and random essentials just keep going up. A pack of batteries is like $12

Haven't looked at prices on that grocery shelves in a long time.

Prices on things like atvs and skidoos have skyrocketed though and manufacturing delayed and increased demand keep them in backorder.

Liberals will tell you it's all profiteering by corporations.

None of them will acknowledge that the growth in the money supply plays a part in the equation for inflation.

I will acknowledge it.

Stimulus has caused massive amounts of inflation.

Money doesn't buy anything and there are literally jobs requiring masters degrees paying 15/hr. Everyone got focused on money lost sight of value.

You have to have concrete skills and abilities that you can charge people money for. Continuous learning is important too. A friend and I are starting to learn Six Sigma as a way to advance more.

One big food company I know has the problem that all truck shipments are waiting at their facility for 10+ hours in order to drop off a shipment because there aren't enough people to unload their goods. Multiply this problem into every industry and you see why the supply crisis is happening. The only way for companies to survive is to raise prices.

If you pay people more money to stay home, they will just stay home. The Fed's quantitative easing definitely helped cause this.
