Brian Williams announces his retirement from MSNBC.

I remember seeing him on TV a lot while I was growing up in the 90’s and 00’s. Stopped watching TV around then I guess but the one thing that really stood out to me about him was how elegant and sophisticated he was. I may not always agree with him but I definitely have a lot of respect for him. He was a true journalist, not like most other “sensational” reporters out there nowadays.

He just misspoke and he was under fire. He just didn't get hit the Heli in front of him did.

This guy peddled thousands of lies during his tenure. When you sign up to work for the MSM, you are basically a paid propagandist. That's your job. To push certain narratives while downplaying others, even if it's not the truth. Even if you know it's not the truth, doesn't matter. The money is too good to pass up.

He intentionally lied. He was never under fire. There was a formation of 3 helicopters “about an hour” ahead of the helicopter Williams was riding in. One of those 3 helicopters was hit by an RPG & forced to land. His helicopter never took fire, much less hit by a RPG, as Williams later tried to claim. Everyone there agreed his helicopter never took fire.
