Analyst who aided Trump-Russia dossier charged with lying

WASHINGTON (AP) — A Russian analyst who contributed to a dossier of Democratic-funded research into ties between Russia and Donald Trump was arrested Thursday on charges of lying to the FBI about his sources of information, among them an associate of Hillary Clinton.

The case against Igor Danchenko is part of special counsel John Durham’s ongoing investigation into the origins of the FBI’s probe into whether Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia had conspired to tip the outcome of that year’s presidential campaign.

The indictment, the third criminal case brought by Durham and the second in a two-month span, is likely to boost complaints from Trump allies that well-connected Democrats worked behind the scenes to advance suspicions about Trump and Russia that contributed to the FBI’s election-year investigation.

I guess it's probably true democratic party pushed for scandals. But rejecting everything is beyond stupidity.
Trump was and is still ready to sell out the ass of his country to China or Russia for his own interests, like any populist, and with deep personal investments beyond that.
Moscow Trump tower, Ivanka horrible clothes contracts in China, or why not Trump Istanbul towers.

I thought being charged with lying to the FBI was a process crime that doesn't really matter or indicate wrong-doing. Or has that talking point flipped now?

Why is it so hard for you guys to understand? When a Republican does something wrong, it's for the good of the country and should be excused because they are patriots. When Democrats do something wrong, they are corrupt and self-serving.

much bigger than that, Hillary-Russia collusion finally confirmed, which birthed the Big Lie that started the 4 year insurrection by domestic terrorists at the Democratic party against a sitting president of the United States
