Facebook seems to be full of posts about people who downplayed the virus and were skeptical about the vaccines dying in large numbers. The vast majority of all covid related deaths now are from people who refused to take the vaccine.

Reminder the virus does not care about your political opinion. Donald trump got the vaccine. Are you smarter than him? Just take the damn thing.

Yeah, the article is old (March 2021) so maybe you'd prefer something more recent? Here's one from June 2021. This time, not a death but a close one. But the side effect was extremely nasty.

Yeah I know, the risk is extremely low but it's still there. Also, the risk from dying from the virus itself (not the vaccine) is extremely low, too. Don't get me wrong, I'm not antivax. All I'm saying here is, you can get off your high horse. Whatever side you pick, you'll find deaths. You'll find really bad side effects on either side.

unfortunately even if you get fully vaccinated the media/govt/“science” will call you a super-spreader if you dont wear 2+ masks alone outside while going for a jog or walking your dog through the park

Its a numbers thing, the number of unvaccinated folks dying from the vaccine is orders of magnitude greater than people dying from complicationa relates to the vaccine. Just hoping to sway some folks, if it saves a few lives why not?

It also kills a few. I'm not gonna take some half-assed vaccine.

Another reason I'm not taking it is it won't improve my life any. I will still be isolated most the time and there's not much to do in town anymore. Most events canceled, restaurants closed, almost no social events to go to, etc. What's the point?

I'd rather just wait until a REAL vaccine is out, one that's been thoroughly, exhaustively tested.

If you're gonna promote vaccines, you'd better be honest about their side effects too. Don't leave that part out. For some reason, it's pretty difficult to find articles about people dying from the vaccines. We only hear about unvaccinated people dying from the virus and often it's the top headline news. It's bullshit.

Our hospital called disaster code last week because we were completely full of people who didn't get the free vaccine. A lot of them are dying. Hard to be sympathetic at this point since it is an elective disease.

After a year of this I'm pretty checked out.

Obviously there is nothing better than to remove any incentive to get vaccinated to get people vaccinated. Government so stupid it wonders why people don't get vaccinated and then flirts with the stupid idea of mandate vaccination.
