Did the United States really leave 45 Blackhawk Helicopters in Afghanistan?

Because if so that's the most cringe shit I've read all year.

It's one thing to leave small arms, and another to leave things like C-130's, Blackhawks, various type of aircraft. Like that's really expensive shit. They should of bombed some the hardware at the very least.

I was reading an article that talked about that the Taliban are actually trying to find the trained Afghan pilots. For years, those guys were prime assassination targets but now they're looking for them to basically re-enlist in the Afghan armed forces on the side of the Taliban.

Imagine you have all those cars and tanks etc could you not load them up with gear and drive out? nope better leave it behind

Oh look enemy will have all this weapons which will be used against us here is a bomb to blow it up and at least make all this stuff inoprablle? nope

Best part is a lot of this was built and basically just left to rust for years on end. The Afghani government didn't even have the infrastructure in place to support it, much less the Taliban. Best they will get a few uses out of it, not be able to repair it, and then it will get sold to China for the technology to be reverse-engineered.

The only reason a lot of this was built was to pad the bottom lines of military contractors.

I'm sure this list is correct, along with even more but do you have a source? Seems pretty detailed
