They are. They just cant do the same things than americans cops. most likely in that city they were with the people and letted them do this.
Or they were not ready and got submerged by the crowd, but other than that, they can still be very violent and shoot a flashball in your eyes.

ya but, i'm a "slave to my job", and i grow my own food, build my own things, own my own property, and i can and have blacksmith my own nails. and i know all of the D2 affixes.

i have a desk job AND ive worked on myself. that's what im saying, become more self reliant while still being a member of the system. its not a binary world, not everyone has to move into the wild just to be independent.
