Ending the War on Drugs and making all drugs legal? What you think?

I think it's a huge waste of money and people should get high if they wanna get high. Control it and use that money on infrastructure, the system and what really need to be worked on since our taxes goes toward killing people abroad.

Most drugs should be legalized.

Some drugs should have the addictive nature studied by scientists and experts in relavent fields and recommendations on public policy be made, and followed.



I don't think meth should be legal. It's way worse than opiates. I think to make a drug illegal should have a high bar.

I think heroin and fentanyl traffickers should be slowly castrated and tortured to death in public. Other drugs are pretty safe. Just get rid of welfare to remove the moral hazards.

They peddle more heroin and fentanyl than any cartel.

The pharmaceutical CEOs should be tortured for all eternity. The doctors that give it out unnecessarily should be given penalties.

And no, the fentanyl comes from China through Mexico.

All substances should be decriminalized, but I wouldn't go as far as to make them 'legal' since in many cases the legality of a substance translates to the selling of that substance (i.e. alcohol, cannabis). However, there are some substances that shouldn't be sold as they offer very little to no medical benefit, are highly addictive, and are also highly deteriorating to peoples' lives--such as meth.

All people currently or formally incarcerated for possession violations should be released and have the charge expunged from their records. Funds currently used in the War on Drugs should be diverted to AOD and other social welfare programs. Cities should also expand their needle exchange offerings and provide safe-injection sites.

i am not sure anymore tbh, in general i am against legalisation, but its pretty clear that the current approach is not working

the failed state of mexico is proof that this problem is impossible to solve with classic police work

I am conflicted on this actually a part of me says yea sure user discretion is advised. And I would say most of them should be legal but there are a few out there which are just toxic for society if many young people start using them. So maybe I would say an age restriction like alcohol for all synthesized man made drugs to be restricted.
