then it became an actual "movement", but almost no charters could even agree on the specifics of their goals. as unified as they got was "police reform". some chapters didnt even want to branch into "cj system reform", some wanted to work with cops, some wanted only black members allowed, some wanted to fund only through community fund raisers, some wanted no paid members, etcetcetcetc.

and in the mean time idiotic whiteys called it a political group with a unified agenda.

then the doomed to fail loosely organized social media collective shrank back into a twitter hashtag and the whiteys cried SUCCESS, WE WON.

Body cameras on police isn’t that innovative. Ferguson effect is bad. Police prosecution is going to be abused for political purposes more than anything else. But yea, go ahead ignore that cultural issues didn’t get addressed, instead exacerbated

it isn't innovative, but the timeline was shifted up considerably by BLM and leftists calling for it nationwide. and that's good, for them, and for everyone else. its an insurance policy for all of society.

Ferguson effect is "bad". not sure how, in the same time police unions have been crying that this indecision causes officers to get shot by criminals the stats haven't proven that out. Police shot by criminals was around 50 before ferguson, nationwide mind you, each year. and still is. the greatest lie of police unions is the fear of cops dying to violent criminals by illegal gun fire. gangs know better than to shoot at cops, they shoot at rival gangs. shoot another gangs bag boy and you get a 1 day investigation before the cops go back to normal patrols. kill a cop and you shut down the streets for weeks. its just bad business. i repeat, 50 cops or so nationwide are killed by criminals via gunfire per year, in a nation of 400 million or so people.

as to the last, im sure it will. and im sure it was abused before by police unions to get dirty cops off. pendulums dont swing from one side to center, but we'll eventually get there. progress isn't free.
