A former green peace activist (which rank of sjw is this?) who climbed the cn tower to protest climate change and had to be rescued by police is now trying to regulate social media in canada as a member of the liberal party to eliminate misinformation and hate speech on social media. The liberals and socialists (ndp) have shutdown the debate on the bill and plowed ahead with it. Does not bode well for the future of social media in canada.

In a new statement sent to CTV News late Sunday night, the minister says he used “unclear” language when he referred to people and online channels being subject to federal regulations as part of the government’s updates to the Broadcasting Act.
