There have been reports on social media and nerd websites that there are gasoline shortages in the Southwest and Southeast. Fill up your Priuses and nerd cars just in case. This is all based on Colonial Pipeline and "Gods chosen people" trying to earn a quick buck.

Unfortunately the possibility of some places running out of gas temporarily is very real. Colonial serves a lot of the bible belt and south west even into southern florida. This isnt some hairbrained conspiracy theory, but the people who thought it would be funny to hack the pipeline down might believe in a few. Our devotion to gasoline is still far too strong.

There's no shortage. Only less pipelines Thanks to Biden.

America+Canada are rich in oil too. Main problem is one of the main supplier is starting to play ball with China/Russia SO things will change + current event (Covid) making things more "Hard" to get.

Time to invest in smart people .

You could use solar panels.
You could grow hemp to produce many things you need and fuel your car. (Hemp take little time to grow and you can literally grow fields within short space with the right temperature/aeration/humidy).

There's so many thing people can do on their own but chose to not learn how to. It's right there in their face and they could live without depending on the systems on most products/things their lives require. People just chose to depend on the system and forever works to pay those expenses and get a third party product versus their own.
