A complete set of events/facts along with the full context. Most biased organizations will ignore certain facts that go against a predetermined narrative or they will ignore the broader context of what's going on.

Axios actually does a really good job by breaking it into sections and keeping it simple.

For example: https://www.axios.com/biden-immigration-unaccompanied-migrants-ice-9be4b10f-88e0-4a95-994e-05bf94d3b036.html

Vox does an excellent job by going significantly deeper but it is a left leaning organization.

I wish there was a right wing equivalent to Vox but it doesn't really exist. I suppose the closest you'd get is the National Review and Reason (each of those are a different flavor of right wing).

At this point, given so many "news articles" and "news segments" are reporting on tweets, or what other outlets reported, as opposed to breaking any unique news, I don't think anyone can really say.

Have a mass shooting and one outlet claims it's some white guy? 95% of the other outlets report on that reporting "confirming" it was a racist white guy, and it turns out to be a Syrian? Well! He was morally white!

Mostly, local news tends to be better, regarding local matters, than any form of national news program. But all of their national/global reporting still falls to reporting on others' reporting, which is itself so speculative that it's all suspect.

Critical thinking requires assessing all the facts, and coming to your own conclusion. even the aforementioned Axios, Reason, and National Review tend to leave out too much, and jump to a conclusion without full consideration to be considered "real news". And Vox is just laughable.

So, what's real or true news? Mostly nothing. The very idea that there's a class of people who wish to declare themselves "Arbiters of Truth" should be more concerning than just about anything else you've ever heard.

Real news is factual and objective, and cites sources.

If your news anchor or journalist describes facts in such a way that they're feeding you opinions, it's fake news. In other words, most mainstream news channels on American TV are bloated with fake news.

The duff is good. But seriously, it should be easy to tell when the news is trying to manipulate you. Look for signs you've become upset in some way. Bam, you have been manipulated

America was born of pub culture in which ordinary working class people would talk about current events and learn from each other from primary sources while downing the ale.

All of the founding fathers brewed beer and were social men involved in the community.

Epoch times, queer

Its an anti-CCP newspaper started by a Chinaman

Do you have any idea the size of balls it takes to do that?
