The minimum wage doesn't track to productivity, nor should it. Productivity gains in the last few decades have largely been driven by automation and technology. It has little to do with the supply/demand factors driving wage cost.

Raising the minimum wage to $24 / hr would represent a wage floor unheard of in both real terms and as a percentage of GDP per capita.

The American left needs to put more effort into developing intellectual talent. AOC is a complete embarrassment.
