The best choices lead to poverty in flesh on this earth, which will fade away as dust because the flesh profits nothing, but also wealth in the spirit and treasure in heaven, which are eternal in God. For Christ is not of this world; and God is spirit. By faith alone our hearts purified; out of which grows an unconditional love of our God, our Messiah, and the children of God on this earth, who, even when steeped in ignorance, have in them the divine light of Christ, “I am the light in the heart of men.”
By that faith emerges sincere love for each other, Christ’s commandment, allowing us to walk in the spirit, by the holy spirit. The cart comes not before the horse; we are not saved by our works, but by faith, which itself is a gift from God, so that none may boast. However, our faith and true love of Christ, frees us from the weak and beggarly ways of this world and the flesh, allowing us to help those in need without reservation, freed from vain earthly possession, to turn the other cheek, freed from hypocritical, unrighteous retribution — lest we heap condemnation on our Lord Christ by judging those his atonement saved —, to pray even for our enemies, as they also are God’s children, so that they repent, which is a wondrous thing, but if they don’t, then coals are heaped upon their heads.
Let your heart be guided by sincere truth, the opposite of hypocrisy, and pray for the spirit of truth, which is the Holy Spirit. There is no truth in the magnification of ourselves, but the glorification of our Lord in heaven. For even Christ in absolute perfection showed humility, saying that none is good, save God; for as Christ said, “if I glorify myself, my glory is nothing.” So, let us deny ourselves, deny our pride, which was the primordial sin of the Dragon Lucifer, the bearer of light, even in heaven. How many sins come from pride and vanity; for unless you overcome your pride, how can you truly repent from your transgressions? In denying ourselves we are made whole; in lowering ourselves we are uplifted. In our own mind as God’s lowly servant, yet by him, we are called his friends. And as his servant we give freely to those according to whatever they need in truth, especially those of the household of faith, and by which, God stores us up a treasure in heaven.
I praise God. I thank my Lord. For my faith is weak of myself, but by his right hand, that lamp which shines in the darkness, I am made to see.
