can you believe that despite being impeached twice and encouraging an insurrection against the government of the US (so as to become a dictator no doubt) donald trump will likely receive the benefits afforded to former presidents? (He won't if he's convicted before leaving office.)

these things include:
$1 million annual budget for security and travel
$500,000 annual budget for spouse's security and travel
a pension
a government-paid staff, office space and furniture

this traitor will have the basic tools for a grassroots campaign to start his own political party after he is inevitably expunged from the republican party

I welcome him starting his own party. Please collapse the Republican party so they will stop obstructing progress.
