Jo was the difference in WI, her votes would have given trump WI and potentially the election assuming GA and PA go trump (which of course isn’t a certainty however it would have made everything more interesting)

I am just wondering where resident libertarians placed their vote this election cycle and what they think of this

libertarians performed over 200%* better in 2016 in WI and he flipped it back then.

Relative performances are inconsequential

This is 2020 not 2016

Can’t imagine their ideology policy wise would be more in line with Biden than trump?

inconsequential is correct word

comparatively though, compared to 2016, he flipped the state (by a slim margin) when johnson got 60,000 more votes than the 2020 libs

it's worth looking at IMO it means Trump wasn't defeated by JoJo voters but rather his own unpopularity

recount important in WI though

Trump is borderline fascist. Easy to see how that might scare the hell out of them.

You would think the same about green and Hillary but green voters hated her

Trump got 200,000 more votes this cycle than in 2016

You can probably bet a number of your 60k difference was reflected in the whopping extra votes trump got this time around. This is why it isn’t surprising why 3rd parties received less support this time than in prior elections. However less support certainly isn’t the same as negligible support

Nah you didn’t miss it, that wasn’t my intended premise.

I guess I disagree that despite trump having fascist tendencies I think he received the lib vote because policy wise it’s more consistent with their ideology than Biden
