Is it unfair to those who already paid their student debts, or served in the military to get tuition paid for them?

Does cancelling student debt put a burden on the average American tax payer?

What about bankruptcy in America, even profitable corporations such as American Idol have filed for bankruptcy on millions of dollars of labor wages and stage equipment etc that they have the revenue to pay off but instead pay lawyers to make it disappear. Are these bankruptcies also a burden on the American tax payer?

Canceling student loans is the single easiest way to boost to the economy. There is absolutely no reason our college should be so expensive. The Student Loan program makes the government billions of dollars a year which effectively just turned student loans into a tax on the educated.

I feel like encouraging education is a bad thing for neo liberals.

I'd be a little upset if I finished paying all student loans and they were cleared.

What would be the point in doing that though, why would anyone without student loans want that?

Couldnt tell ya about the bankruptcy shenanigans and how that stuff actually plays through.

I want it because I benefit from a more educated society and the economy will improve.

Not sure what you really mean by benefit. Have you been to college?

People don't really get that much from college, at least not in the way I'm assuming you mean.

Do you really think it helps educate more people on things that would benefit you if it was free?

I dont think I agree with your idea, though I dont actually know exactly what you mean

I'm not necessarily opposed to cancelling student debt but that doesn't fix the underlying issues we have with our education system. People shouldn't feel forced to go to college in the first place in order to do a job that doesn't require said degree. Companies only require a college degree because it proves that you're not a fuck-up. That's pretty much it.

You can prove that without going to college if that's really the only reason.

You can actually come out above many college degrees by doing other things instead of a 4 year degree.

Problem lies in the person more so than the system
