So Rosa Parks was just a bus passenger? MLK was just a minister? Jackie Robinson was just a random baseball player?
The ceiling is broken and the systems the Democrats established to keep those discriminatory practices in place are gone.
This is an election, not a civil rights march. And if you want civil rights, Harris is the last place you should look. Her career as a prosecutor is all public record.
I get that as a racist, every subject you view has to be seen through a lens of race, sex, religion, etc. I'm not near so narrow minded. There are 330 million people in the United States. The executive branch exists to serve them all. White, Black, Red, Yellow, and Brown. Based on her recent interviews, I do not believe Harris will be willing to answer questions such as whether or not she and Biden's administration would attempt to stack the court. I do not believe she will stay factual or on topic any more than Biden did. Pence has a habit of staying on topic and even factual, but he's dull. He's the kind of guy who should be giving motivation speeches at bible camps.
So, waste an hour and a half listening to harpy sounding laughter, question dodges, and lies from one side, a pulpit sermon from the other, the media's going to report a sweeping win for Harris within moments of the conclusion of the debate, and not a single voter will be swayed. That's the result.
Not about race, about content, and the content is going to be lacking.
If you want some fun, put Harris up against Trump. I'd rather match up two people who throw strange and completely false shit out there, attack their targets like a fucking bulldog, and do all kinds of cringe-worthy stuff. THAT is a debate I'd tune into.
