President of the United States Donald Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel peace price and rightfully so. After all it's Trump who helped broker peace between Israel and the UAE https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-israel-uae-peace-agreement

Sounds like positive news right, a US president gets nominated for the coveted Nobel peace price but check the ensuing twitter meltdown of far lefties and liberals.

Grab some popcorn and lean back ^_^

played by NK and piggybacked an already rolling UAE-Israel peace deal into a Nobel prize nomination. wild stuff.

The collective meltdown if he gets will be grade A entertainment. YouTube & reddit will rake in a decent amount of advertising dollars.

Jonah Goldberg had a podcast with Ken Pollack on the deal. Ken argued that Trump helped the deal happen, not because of diplomatic acumen, but because his policy towards the Middle East(and particularly Iran) has been one of inconsistency and weakness. So essentially the Arab states are looking more to an alliance with Israel against the major threat in the region.

Here's the article he wrote on it:

It's quite easy to be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize though.

indeed, the growing threat of Iran and arguably the Saudi's unchecked upward movement will create more and more odd situations moving forward. UAE industrializing as fast as it is and modernizing and softening really does highlight how sad the US's approach in the ME has been. if we didn't bomb most of these places to shit and instead helped modernize them 50 years ago instead of just enriching oil royals we might have a far more tolerant Islam today worldwide.
