There has been lots of news on this lately. Steve Bannon tricked a bunch of people to donate to their “build a wall” group, but they went out and bought a boat and pocketed a lot of the money instead of actually doing anything. Mexico won’t pay for it because they shouldn’t have to. There is no point to a wall. Tunnels can go under a wall, planes can go over, and boats could circumvent it completely. The wall was never meant for keeping people actually out, it’s a symbol of xenophobia.

Sarcasm aside, I’m gonna mansplain this to you one time nicely. Illegal immigrants frequently use faked social security numbers and other bogus data to fit into the system. When they go out and get jobs here, they pay into the system and they will never see that money for themselves. Your parents will get the benefit of their contributions to the system while they won’t get shit later in their lives. I understand being afraid of the unknown, but that is no excuse for xenophobia based on ideas that are fallacies.

There is room for legal immigration. Justifying illegal immigration is very wrong of you.
